YOUTUBE MUSIC INTRODUCES SAMPLES
YouTube Music has introduced their new music discovery tool 'Samples'. Within the app, 'Samples' will provide users with a personalised seamless feed of short-form videos to discover new music from the depths and breath of the YouTube Music Library. From each sample, users may easily add the song to their music library, generate a new radio station, visit the artist page or use the song in their own Shorts.
INSTAGRAM INTRODUCES NEW FEATURES

Instagram has now introduced the ability to allow users to collaborate with up to three additional account on their feed posts, reels and carousels. Additionally, users may now add music to their carousel posts too!
Meta has also revealed more information as to how the Instagram algorithm works, helping educate artists on best promoting their music on the platform. SPOTIFY MERCH DISCOUNT REWARDS
Spotify For Artists has introduced self-serve merch discount rewards, the newest tool found in the merch suite.
This new tool allows you to offer a special discount on up to 100 merch items of your choosing to reward your top fans. All you need to do is head to the Special Offers tab within Merch in Spotify For Artists, give your offer a name and start date, select the merch items and the amount you wish to discount, and Spotify will do the rest.
The discount reward will be made available to your top fans across multiple surfaces on Spotify and run for two weeks.
